Workshop in massage for performers.
Date: Saturday 23th September, 2.30pm
Venue: CoisCéim, 14 Sackville Place, Dublin 1

This innovative hands-on workshop will teach
performers the various massage techniques they need to help them
prepare for performances and soothe aching muscles afterwards. With
the assistance of professional therapists, participants will learn a
variety of useful techniques to reduce stress, work out those knots,
treat and relax tired muscles or wake them up to prepare them before a
performance.
Presented by Massage.ie, which was set up by Mark Donoghue , an experienced massage
therapist who specialises in therapeutic and sports massage,  in association with CoisCéim.
Massage.ie will also deliver on-site massage treatments to those hard-working, dedicated,
attractive, talented Fringe staff!
Free to festival club members.
Wear gym clothes or shorts.

WORKSHOP
Stanislavsky / Strasberg Method Acting Masterclass.

Teacher Shelly Mitchell, favourite of Lee Strasberg, over from the famous Actor's Studio in San Francisco will introduce, demonstrate, and answer questions on Method Acting and the psychological,  personal and  philosophical insights it has provoked. She will work closely with workshop participants and help them experience the moment-to-moment work that has been characteristic of great actors throughout time.
